Wayfarer's trail with guides-5 June 2016

For the national day of hiking guides, I propose this excursion promotional FREE PARTICIPATION. Registration is REQUIRED BEFORE 3 June (see below)

The Wayfarer's Trail is a hiking trail that connects the ancient mule tracks and protohistoric and Roman age historical routes, along the eastern shore of Lake Como, on the lower slopes of the mountains. The location allows you to enjoy wonderful views of the Lake and to grasp the wise balance that man has managed to establish an environment that is not always easy.

The hike proposed by Fabio G.A.E. Marotta and Sara Zanni starts from the railway station to Varenna (LC) and ends at the train station of ayl, easily reachable by train from Milan. Inexperienced hikers can interrupt the path in Bellano, after about 3 hours walk from the start, while the fittest can fulfill the whole itinerary with the guides until Dervio. The return to Varenna or Lecco and Milan is possible thanks to the railway connection.

Equipment: hiking boots .1 .5 litres of water, a sack lunch, rain or rain jacket, hat, sunscreen
